Historical Research 2022
April 25, 2022

To maximize the opportunities for Research Dissemination, the RIILD Department conducted the RADIO-BASED RESEARCH FORUM every Friday starting tomorrow at 4:00 pm. All Deans were requested to recommend four (4) groups to present per department. Due to health protocols, if possible, a maximum of two members per group were required to present their study. All participants must wear their type A uniform (FB live Streaming) and come to school at 3:30 pm. Certificates were given to those who would attend the said Forum.

Research Forum 2022
February 2022 - April 2022

The Office of Research Internationalization, Innovation, and Linkages hosted a webinar on Approaches and Methods in Historical Research on April 25, 2022 via Zoom Conference in collaboration with the Office of Instructional Innovation and the Social Sciences Department. Mr. Kenneth Ian B. Barrera the host, led the opening prayer, which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Rev. Fr. Ronniel G. Babano, STL made the opening remark, then the host introduced the resource speaker, Professor Sharon O. Bulalac of MSU-Marawi. The insightful morning activity was followed by an afternoon writing workshop. Participants were divided into two groups and asked to present their work. The training session ended at 4:40 p.m.

Virtual Asian Conference on Interdisciplinary Research 2021
May 6-7, 2021

The 21st-century usher's new challenges to the education sectors and academic institutions' role had become wider and broader. Institutional research has given a new perspective and prominence. Saint Michael College of Caraga hosted the first Virtual Asian Conference on Interdisciplinary Research 2021. With the theme “Re-building Society Through Research in the Age of New Normal!” happened on May 6-7, 2021, via ZOOM Teleconferencing.

Research Forum 2021
April 21 - May 14, 2021

Saint Michael College of Caraga Radio Advocacy Program with the Research department happened on April 16, 2021. The advocacy was headed by Dr. Beverly D. Jaminal, RIILD Director, and Mr. Felix E. Arcilla Jr, the Managing Editor in the DXSM 89.5 Kabayaning Michaelinian FM. This advocacy promotes the program of the Research Department to share it with the community, especially the stakeholders of the school. The department gave an update on the planned activities and the future endeavors of the Research department.

Virtual Research Forum 2021
March 17-19, 2021

Challenging times call for creativity. This thought has led the Research Instructional Innovation, Internationalization and Linkages Department to create avenues for the continuity of the quest for new knowledge. Last March 17-19, 2021, the Virtual Research Forum 2021 was actualized in a way that students were given the opportunity to present their papers. The people who participated were the Senior High School and College students enrolled in research for SY: 2020-2021. The RIILD office invited different personalities who are experts in their respective fields from criminology, information technology, education, business and tourism.

Web-Based Resources for Pedagogy Across Disciplines

Saint Michael College of Caraga, with the participation of the Research, Instructional Innovation, Internalization, & Linkages Department under the leadership of Dr. Beverly Derecho Jaminal, conducted a Webinar on Web-Based Resources for Pedagogy Across Disciplines. The webinar happened on March 03, 2021, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Resource Speaker was Dr. Genaro V. Japos, a Research consultant and a regular member of the National Research Council of the Philippines. The Program was started with a prayer and followed by the Opening Remarks of Rev. Fr. Ronniel G. Babano, STL, the school president.
